Meet Our Team Culpeper, VA

Dr. Ibrahim Elgarawany, or Dr. G, as he is more commonly known around the office, grew up in a small, rural community in Egypt, where no dental services were available. His neighbors and family members used to suffer from aching teeth all the time. Seeing this prompted him to attend dental school, with the goal of helping local communities, especially in rural areas with limited access to dental care. In 2006, he completed dental school in Alexandria, Egypt.

After completing his degree, he finished his post-graduate studies at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT. He also is affiliated with Yale University. Dr. G has received advanced training in wisdom teeth extraction, Invisalign® aligners, and the placement of mini and regular dental implants. Today, education remains a hallmark of his care. He takes classes once a month to expand his knowledge. Additionally, every three months, he takes a week off of work and attends different continuing education courses to learn about the latest advancements in dentistry.

In his free time, he enjoys swimming, playing soccer and watching basketball. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Dr. G enjoys what he does and cares about making a comfortable environment for all of his patients. Our dentist and team can’t wait to help you create a beautiful smile!

Dr. Malik’s family is originally from Pakistan, but she was born and raised in Saudi Arabia until she graduated from high school. She began to follow her dream to become a dentist by returning to her family’s home country and graduating from CMH Lahore Medical and Dental College in Lahore, Pakistan, in 2013. Dr. Malik then moved to the United States in 2015 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2022, where she earned her DMD. She is a nurturing provider and her kind spirit makes her a dentist that truly cares about the needs of her patients and provides them with high-quality dental care. She currently lives with her husband and two children in Aldie and enjoys her scenic commute to Culpeper twice a week. Dr. Malik loves spending her free time watching movies, reading books and traveling with her family.

Tracy served as Patient Care Coordinator and Insurance Manager for our practice since 2010, then became the Office Manager in late 2024. She can be heard whistling happy tunes in the office most days, and tries her very best to create a friendly and professional environment for all of our patients. Tracy has also served as Choir/Handbell Director for Culpeper Presbyterian Church for many years, and loves spending quality time with her husband, three beautiful grandchildren and English Springer Spaniel “Giulia.”

Dana has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2006 and we have been privileged to have her in our practice since 2023. She cares deeply about the care of our patients, and pays close attention to details to make their experience very positive and comprehensive. Dana has always been an energetic athlete, participating in multiple sports throughout her life, and loves spending time with her son.

Jessy started her career as a Dental Assistant, and worked her way through dental hygiene school while tending to her family. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2021 and an irreplaceable member of our team since she achieved her goal of becoming a dental hygienist. Jessy is always interested in listening to our patients’ needs and providing excellent care! She rides Western and enjoys farm life with her husband and two children. Her free time is spent traveling and playing/coaching volleyball.

Karla is an Orange County native who started her career as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2006, and has been giving our patients bright smiles since 2023. Her easy-going spirit is welcoming and she provides excellent patient care! Karla has two sons and a daughter and is an active member of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship. In her spare time, she is also a competitive Western rider, trains western performance horses and coaches lessons.

Kelsey was born and raised in Culpeper and has one son that she adores. She has been a thorough and skilled Dental Assistant since 2014 and has been an amazing part of our work family since 2021. Kelsey always thinks “outside of the box” and makes us laugh daily! Her patient care is the best around and she has a special way of putting our patients “at ease” in the chair. Kelsey favorite past-time is watching her son play sports.

Carrie has been an important part of our team since 2024, and has a charismatic personality. As a Dental Assistant since 2011, she brings a wealth of knowledge about cutting-edge dental technology and has a personal touch in the care of our patients. Being a native of Culpeper, she is happy to be working here in her home town. Carrie is married and a mom to three kids and a chocolate Labrador named “Kota.” She also finds time to raise chickens and brings fresh eggs and home-baked goods to sell in our office!

Haley’s warm smile greets our patients when they enter our practice door and she’s a very proficient Patient Care Coordinator! She is fabulous at “multi-tasking” as she guides our patients through the check-in/check-out process and helps explain treatment plans. Haley joined our team in 2023 and has a long career in the dentistry field including not only front desk work, but has also been a Dental Assistant since 2014. Haley has one son and an adorable pup “Axel.” She is very close to her family and loves watching her son play soccer and basketball.

Kim has devoted most of her career to dentistry, and began as a Dental Assistant in 1997. As one of our friendly Patient Care Coordinators, she helps make sure you feel welcome and have a pleasant experience in our dental office. Kim donates much of her spare time serving the community through her church and loves spending time with her grandkids, family and friends. She also has a great time playing with her cat, “Miss Kitty,” and dog, “Tink.”

Brenda has had a long-standing career in the dental field since 1999 including work as a Dental Assistant, Patient Care Coordinator and Billing and Insurance Manager. She was pivotal in helping our team migrate into our new dental software when she joined our practice in January 2025, and she is well-versed in getting our patients’ claims paid! Brenda moved to Culpeper in 2016 from Northern Virginia and enjoys spending time camping with her blended family that includes her husband, five adult children and one grandchild.
